I had one goal this weekend: teach the puppies to hang outside with me without digging up the entire yard while I tanned.
Added plus? Tucker joining me on my lawn chair to enjoy the sun with me. My kind of dog.

Snowy Fails
With puppies in the house that have a weird obsession with licking feet, squeezing in time to paint my toenails is a treat. Obviously, within thirty seconds of putting the final coat on, puppy naptime was over. To prevent any (more) accidents, they have to be taken outside right after they wake up. And for some reason, they just won't pee unless you stand outside watching them.
Oh, did I mention that it snowed today?
Urg.
And it looks like Mom's poor little palm tree was forgotten about a few months too late ...

Snow Day(s)
You know what makes me really happy?
I got out of shoveling snow! One point for trivial happiness!
After the extreme snowfall last winter, my mom and my neighbor split a snow blower hoping to never have to use it. That logic clearly failed, but it got me out of shoveling my immense driveway.
And, in further proof that snow days aren't fun after graduation, I had to work from home. Nope, no more snow days ever again. No more wine at 10 a.m. No more movie marathons while snuggling with my roommates. No sledding for me, just writing. Not that I really minded because I am a poor writer and it was another great excuse of why I couldn't help blow snow or clean off the cars.
Anyways, I'm done with snow now and it can melt and we can skip to summer, thanks.

Happiness for All
I wish I could be one of those people who post everyday. But, there simply just aren't enough hours in the day. And enough interesting things just don't happen in my day. Sorry for the disappointment.
Anyways, as Christmas is nearing, things are a little busy. Add decorating, baking, wrapping, etc. with a full time job for the first time ever and it gets a little crazy. I just love baking too much to cut it out and this is about the only time of the year that it's totally acceptable for me to be a fatty.
Going with the theme of my blog and my daily pursuit for happiness, kicks and giggles, it looks like I should also add in the pursuit of the happiness of Tucker this holiday season.
I didn't know dogs could frown.

Bundling Up
Speaking of the weather getting cold, the freezing weather over the weekend made it the perfect time to break out the puppy sweaters.

Boyfriend and I tried to enjoy the weather (ha) and get into the Christmas spirit. We walked through Princeton (pretending we were smart and studious, of course), got coffee and looked at condos we can never afford. Ah, to dream.

Hope everyone had a good weekend and started to get themselves in the holiday spirit!

Cone Heads
Dear Puppies,
Please hurry up and heal so that these cones can come off your heads. They hurt my ankles and I'm scared that when you try to jump up and kiss me, you're going to break my nose. Also, I'm tired of hearing Mom complain that you're going to ruin her hallway/furniture/door/house/etc.

I blame my sucking at blogging on these two.
