Day One

Creating is blog is something that I have always considered. I was a Journalism major in college. I believe I have important things to say. I love writing. I like to follow trends. So really, why wouldn't I start a blog?

Okay, so sometimes I'm a little lazy.

But now, four years of college down and currently in a state of unemployment, I've had a sudden pang of motivation. Does anyone actually want to read what I have to say? Probably not. But, two months into life-after-college, I've come to some realizations and I'll share them either way:

  1. People are dumb.
  2. The people I surround myself with tend to be of the lower IQ bracket.
  3. I want to be happy.
  4. Surrounding myself by dumb people keeps me entertained and sometimes happy.
  5. Dumb people are inclined to annoy me.

It's safe to say that I'm not all that great at analytical reasoning. I'd probably be happier if I were.

So here it is; my half-blind mom who I am now stuck living with again due to my currently unemployment, Republican Boyfriend, my daily interactions with "hon and toots," and the few that I consider my friends.

So as I begin my pursuit of my personal happiness, I'm sure one (but probably many more) of these important factors in my life will get in my way).

Cheers.
